The short version
This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and doesn't load anything from third-party services. We don't know who you are unless you send us a message, email or call us.
This notice covers digitforgelimited.com only. Each of our apps and games has its own privacy policy, linked from its page under Apps & Games.
Who we are
This website is run by Digitforge Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 17091016), Office 9489, 321-323 High Road, Chadwell Heath, Essex, United Kingdom, RM6 6AX. We are the data controller for the information described here.
What we collect
- Server logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel, records technical details of each request, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. These logs are kept for a short period and we don't use them to identify visitors.
- Messages you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, company (if you give it), topic and message. The form is processed by our hosting provider, Vercel, and delivered to our inbox by Resend, an email delivery service. If you email or call us, we receive your contact details and what you tell us. We use this only to reply and to deal with your enquiry.
- Your theme choice. If you switch between light and dark theme, the choice is saved in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
Fonts and images are served from this website itself, so no third party receives your IP address when you visit.
Why we can use it
We handle contact messages because we have a legitimate interest in answering enquiries about our work, and because you asked us to reply. Server logs are kept for our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
Vercel and Resend process this data on our behalf and may do so outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is protected by safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
How long we keep it
We keep messages and emails for as long as we need them to answer your enquiry and, if we work together, for as long as the law requires us to keep business records.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email business@digitforgelimited.com and we'll reply within one month.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
